YOGA & MEDITATION
Rebalance body, mind & spirit
Yoga is over 5000 years old it is an ancient Indian science philosophy and way of life. The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’ which means to ‘yoke’, ‘bind’ or to ‘unite’. It also signifies ‘union’ or ‘oneness.’ Yogic scriptures reveal that the practice of Yoga leads to the union of the individual consciousness, with universal consciousness.
Yoga allows us to be present, to allow us to reveal our true selves and the true essence of our being. Creating the perfect harmony between mind, body, spirt, man and nature.
Improve strength & flexibility of body and mind
Yoga is suitable for everyone and every body.
I offer a range of classes to help you find inner balance, improve wellbeing and find your radiance.
Ultimately, Yoga teaches us that to be in harmony with oneself and one’s environment, the body, mind and spirit must be integrated. For these to be integrated, one’s thoughts, actions and emotions must first be in balance.
Yoga uses a trio of practices, asana (body movement), pranayama (breath control), and meditation (focussing of the mind) to maintain this balance.
The practice of yoga has many benefits which include; calming the mind, reducing anxiety and depression. It increases the mind and body connection, improving circulation, energy levels, digestion and breathing.
It also improves co-ordination, balance, flexibility of body and mind and builds strength mentally and physically.
Yoga is a work in, not just a workout.
Yoga teaches us that we are master of our microcosm. We hold the innate power within us to thrive at whatever our hearts desire. The tools of yoga enable us to unlock our inner powers, layer by layer. To achieve inner harmony with one’s self and the world around us.

“True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life.
Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived.
Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming.
Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.”
—Aadil Palkhivala, Fire of Love
